INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT FOR PEOPLE, ECONOMY AND NATURE
SLISDAWEI is the Sri Lanka Integrated Socioeconomic Development and Wildlife Eco-harmony Initiative. It is SLAHDA’s integrated programme framework for connecting humanitarian priorities with sustainable livelihoods, national development, environmental stewardship and long-term institutional cooperation.
THREE COMPLEMENTARY PILLARS
-
Humanitarian projects — designed primarily to improve dignity, inclusion, essential services, livelihoods and protection for people and communities.
-
Semi-commercial projects — structured to deliver public and community benefits while generating sustainable revenues that may support humanitarian and institutional objectives.
-
Commercial projects — appropriately separated and governed development activities intended to strengthen economic sustainability and responsible investment participation.
SLISDAWEI spans multiple sectors and is being developed through project reports, technical annexures, financial workbooks, risk and safeguard frameworks, government engagement and partnership due diligence.
ACCURATE PROJECT STATUS
All projects must be described according to their actual status. A concept, proposal or project seeking participation must not be represented as approved, funded or under implementation unless that status has been formally established.
